Pride and Prejudice

I need to read Pride and Prejudice before class starts in about a week. I've heard it is terrible. I am contemplating just reading a summary or two, and some articles on her writing style. Do you think this would suffice for a college level English class test?

That's what I thought but it's probably the worst book I've read this year. It's just Pride and Prejudice and the occasional "oh look zombies lol" without the lol.
