Why the fuck are all teen girls obsessed with this shit now?

Normally I wouldn't be complaining, because at least the girls are reading now, but holy shit, have you actually looked at some of this?

It's like bad fan-fiction compiled together in the most uncoordinated way imaginable, tied up with some horny teen-girl erotica.

Please explain the appeal of this to such a vast number of people/share experiences with fans of this book/book series, /book/.  I'm genuinely intrigued.

All these Girls are something in germany we call it girlies.This means they like bands like Tokio Hotel and other boybands and scream a lot.And Twillight is a book for such girls .In Germany Girlies are as hated as Emos and get bullied at school.The Reason that book is so loved by them is becuase
1 Peer Pressure:Their friends have read the book so they do too cause most of them have no own opinion.
2 The Book is easyily written so they have no problems with diffucult words(all these girls are stupid) and the third reason
3 it`s about Love and absolutely quixotic(a vampir family living in a little city and does not drink blut, what is this shit)

God i Hate them, they should read Mieville, Kafka, Jules Verne, Pratchett or at least Rowling.
