Im not sure how much of Nietzsche you have read, but he’s much more important than that summary. His deconstruction of metaphysics and perspectivalism are both extremely influential to both European and American British philosophy. Infact I and many others would argue that he’s the most important of the post Kant pre positivist philosophers.

Alot of his writings are very accessible and riddled with timeless political/social themes, making him VERY popular with the teenage/hipster/college freshmen crowd. But just because he has some..."questionable" followers does not undermine the importance of his ideas. You need to dig a little deeper in Nietzsche to gain the systematic knowledge you attain when reading most other philosophers, I suggest you read him again and keep an open mind.
