Yeah I know. The Redwall series isn't all that great, but I still enjoy it a lot. Enough to make a book report out of it for my 11th grade Language Arts III class. However, I want to pick the "best" book in the Redwall series. Personally, I liked "The Bellmaker" the most. It reallly lacked in plot, but the book is pretty charming and I really enjoyed the escape scenes. Also, they had a character that wasn't totally evil or good.
So, what Redwall book would you recommend for an 11th grade Language Arts III class? In story, character, overall, etc? Hell, even mention any fiction books that can be used for this assignment.
Thanks. :O

Wow, it's been a while since I read any of the Redwall books. I must have been in Year 8 (not sure how that translates into US "grades", but I was about 13) last time I read one, but I seem to recall being particulary fond of Mariel of Redwall, Salamandastron, and Martin the Warrior.

Dude, I read Redwall in fifth grade. Pick something challenging for your 11th grade book report.
What's wrong with reading something simple and fun for once? I mean, I just wanted to take a break from all the "serious" literature.
Also, I got a B- on my project. My teacher said that the book was a pretty bad choice for the class, which was why my grade got lowered. I still had a lot of fun on it, though.

BINGO! THAT'S WHAT'S WRONG WITH IT!
What are you going to do next? A literary analysis of See Spot Run?
