Redwall? (Also another question)

Yeah I know. The Redwall series isn't all that great, but I still enjoy it a lot. Enough to make a book report out of it for my 11th grade Language Arts III class. However, I want to pick the "best" book in the Redwall series. Personally, I liked "The Bellmaker" the most. It reallly lacked in plot, but the book is pretty charming and I really enjoyed the escape scenes. Also, they had a character that wasn't totally evil or good.

So, what Redwall book would you recommend for an 11th grade Language Arts III class? In story, character, overall, etc? Hell, even mention any fiction books that can be used for this assignment.
