OK so I watch this anime. AND FOR 4 MILLION YEARS I'm stuck listening to this shit about pastries and I don't even know the main character. It's Konata and she's talking about some shit about food with her friends.
Now L is dead and there's nothing funny. I'm getting a little bored. But my friends are like "KEEP WATCHING! KEEP WATCHING!" eventually anime references are coming out of every orifice. It's awesome. Just stick with it. So I do and I listen to all the shit about food and anime and I watch as some bitch talks about Balsamic Vinegar and the girl's dad jacks off to underage girls until I finally find some funny parts. But it's total bullshit. It took me like 4 years. I didn't see any parts that made me laugh for like a hundred millennium.

Well I just bought the Lucky Star ED CD from importCDs because I couldn't bear to download it. So I guess I'm contributing somewhat to the industry. But I wonder why anyone would chose to buy a CD these days, except out of guilt/respect for the makers? It's like buying media these days is a voluntary donation. That can't be a good thing, don't you think?

I bought the remix CD of the opening because some stores in Akiba played the CD while i was there on vacation and i did seem to like the remixes for 1200 yen.
Too bad i'll listen to it in a few weeks, as i sent it via mail among the other CDs, the two cosplay DVDS and the two figurines i also bought, because i wanted to evade the import inspection and keep the stuff nice and dandy.
Yeah, Miyuki's a nice an dandy girl, but i like the creative otaku side of Tamura Hiyori too.
Konata just pales in comparison to Tamura.

All in all, while i was in Tokyo, often visiting Akihabara, i was more interested in exploring stuff than really buying stuff, except for byuing Magic and Lycee cards, buying enough meganekko cards for 3 meganekko only Lycee decks.
It was a nice time and i would like to go back, but the costs are quite prohibitive.
Look, I don't usually comment on threads like these, but I'm Japanese by birth and have been watching the raws as they come out. I hate to say it, but the show is going downhill.
I like the show, but prepare yourself for the massive overhyping that is going on over these few weeks of no subs. Unfortunately, you may be disappointed with the actual episodes once you see them.
