This reminds me of those stupid arguements that I used to hear from those retards when my old school flipped out and forced me into a school for "emotionally disturbed kids".

WTF? Sometimes the English VAs are better than the Japanese. It all depends on wether or not the speaking sounds natural, which, yes, you can tell if the acting is natural or not even if you can't speak that language. O.o;

Uh, no you can't tell if it's natural or not because you haven't perfectly mastered Japanese for 300 years, sorry.
I'd prefer listening to the actual voice actress then hearing a totally different person talking in part of the character. Yeah. I have my sets of favourite seiyuus. So dub never and will never work for me. How strange to hear some cowboy slang in a japanese anime. Cheh. I'd prefer dubs from the start I watch anime. Cos I'm disgusted by the way the americans take the anime and turn it into their own. Cheh

Guess what, the characters are all drawn and don't really exist. There are no actual or original voices for them.

i'm getting sick of people like you, typical anime fans. When you're gonna call something shit, give good valid reasons, but all you do is say 'its fucking ridiculous!'...WHY is it you moron?

a lot of the quality difference comes from the fact that the VAs are just paid more in japan, and the animation is fitted to their voice tracks. since the american market mentality for anime is mainly to get the popular stuff out quickly, less time/money is put into making a good dub.
also, most of you don't know japanese so you don't know that some of the original VA's actually sound bad/don't fit the character.
another part of the reason we're used to thinking the original is better is because only the better shows get rawed/subbed, while the majority of the shit anime are unknown.

i disagree
the quality has nothing to do with money, its the way the japanese do things, they have thier own unique skills that they dont really share with the world hence having dubbed as a 'closed industry'...
most american dubbs suck because the american culture and the way of talking is not as enthusiasctic as the japanese

That's bullshit. The difference is simply that in the American entertainment industry, the focus is more on live-action, leading to dubs having low budgets and therefore shitty voice-actors. There are quite a few good American dubs and actors capable of expressing emotion, just look at The Simpsons, or other big-budget dubs with actors like Patrick Stewart and whatnot. Not to mention all the live-action shows.
Also, I think that many Mexican and German dubs of anime are very good, sometimes even better than the Japanese versions.

I agree on the German dubs. I've found many to be better if not equal to the Japanese voice cast. Ergo Proxy is a good example of quality English dubs.

not really, if u've watched a lot of pixar animated movies, u'll see that the actors's voice acting perfectly suits the roles and is very well done, but if u put it in japanese anime, MOST ofthe time, it wont be, because anime expresses much more realism and emotions than western animated/live action film. Japanese films and anime most of the time reflect upon japanese culture,they show intimacy through emotion and realistic acting, the west show it through mindless sex scenes....the japanese culture is diffrent than the west
