yeh, if anime holds is status-quo and wishes to export to wider world then for the blacks to get a cut they have feel some fiscal measures- boycott (if you don't know what a boycott is then pay attention: stop buying manga, anime, etc. buy a Powerbook instead of a Vaio- you get the idea)

Okay... i know for a fact that there are very few black anime characters but does it really matter?? I mean geesh.. I am black myself and i could care less *shrugs* but to see one in anime is a treat for me cause it gives me an idea of how the author of the novel wants them portray and that stems on if i like it or not..and so far i have had no complaints... and i would like to say that the BEST ANIME with a portrayal of BLACK chracters even though they are Japanese *drum rolls* BLEACH!!! HELL YEA!!! Yoruichi and Tousen Kaname... AWESOME!!! Anyways..whether they are light skin or dark skinned they are a person of color and frankly that's that. If they are Indian (they are a person of color) Just because their skin is darken by the sun. Not all Indians Black but the majority of them are Dark. And i love my Indian brothers and Sisters. dont they know white people think they are just as useless as blacks and hispanics? I have seen more of my friends praise Young Jezzy and Jay Z and Usher and flat out call Jackie Chan and Utada Hikuru straight up chinks.

Japanese and asian people in general are racist. They rarely include blacks in anime and try to justify this by saying that they do not know what blacks look like. ( wow so it seems like asians are very stupid when it comes to international affairs and do not have a tv). They say that they get their information form white people. ( if that is so, then why do asian's claim that they have been isolated from other races for so long?) Also, asians want so badly to be accepted into the hip hop culture but they do not even like the people who created it. I read this thing in a hip hop magazine featuring gwen stefani. it said something about that Japanese ppl love Jamacian peps ever since Bob Marley went there. And now some of the little japanese kids be wearin' dreds and stuff. it was kinda weird but maybe the younger japanese would be more accepting of the black race than the older ppl. maybe i don't know. I'm gonna go to japan to find out someday
