Black anime characters

I've personally never seen a black anime character.  Do they exist?

That's a given. 
But then, how much do average blacks know about Asian
cultures??   Even less, I'd certainly bet. 
Plus, Black folks have a hefty amount of prejudice themselves.  So let me say;
"Blacks also need to develop a mind of their own and stop 
 picking up white racism."
