Why does most hentai look like crap?

Seriously, most hentai looks like it was drawn by a 12 year old. And even if it is well drawn, its animation is either really choppy or the Genitiles are drawn so badly its hard to tell what the fuck they are.

Why is this? Is it just that americans get the shitty hentai?

Is it because most hentai is censored, and must be re-drawn once it gets uncensored and sent to america?

Honestly, how do you think girls are getting off to it?  I know the number of females watching anime is signifigantly lower than males, but we are out there. 
It's more stimulating to see a realistic penis in action.  I refuse to download anything with below-par animation for that fact alone. 
I'm bi, and I enjoy seeing pussy as much as penis, but generally more time gets spent on female genetalia than male.  It makes no sense to me.

Okay, I'm a loser, but I wasn't aware of the Japanese censorship law.  Which would completely explain the fact that almost all the good hentai has those horrible huge mosiacs.  Hopefully it has been lifted.  I think I could wait a couple of years for the prospect of uncensored hentai.
