Why does most hentai look like crap?

Seriously, most hentai looks like it was drawn by a 12 year old. And even if it is well drawn, its animation is either really choppy or the Genitiles are drawn so badly its hard to tell what the fuck they are.

Why is this? Is it just that americans get the shitty hentai?

Is it because most hentai is censored, and must be re-drawn once it gets uncensored and sent to america?

Because that's not what people pay for. They may pay to fap to it in the end, but they won't pay for just 5 minutes of boring sex. If they wanted that, they'd buy REAL porn. People pay for CHARACTER, no matter how cliche or shallow. They pay to see an innocent (or not innocent) girl get gang raped or violated by some tentacled monster or whatever. People don't buy anime porn to have anime pornstars. It's boring.

And hey, all anime character designs look the same. You'd get bored if you just saw people having sex scene after sex scene, simply because hentai artwork isn't the most creative on the block.

And plus, I'm of the impression that 5 minutes of ultra quality animation costs more than 20 minutes of shit animation.
