A lot of stuff in Japan is made to resemble Europe, especially French and Italian cultures, and sometimes American. While analysing and emulating another culture is flattering, how realistic is it? In anime, for example, you might see mansions with maids who serve tea and get involved in bondage gear. Does this ever happen in Japan? How likely are various fantasy scenarios in Japan? (not sci-fi stuff, just contemporary). This applies to anime and adult anime. When does a "real life" scenario actually resemble Japanese life, and when doesn't it?

the Japanese are not the type to fuck without notice. they are calm people (usally) and anime is just their way of saying "SUPRISE" to the world, because of the sometimes shocking material in the shows or in the manga. So, no i think that all the strange unrealistic stuff in anime/manga is just them expressing their inner desires, which they as a society are not allowed to act on.

I heard that yeah they secretly wish to be like Europe, not like 'boy I wish I was born over there instead!' type though, not that big of an intensity. Hear they even pushed hard to get the same DVD region as Europe

If you look at it, anime is not all to dissimilar to real life. Maids who serve tea is almost realistic considering how tea is a staple of Asian consumption. I'd imagine the bondage scenario is not real to the sense that it's common, but it's not out there enough to believe that it does not happen given the state of Japanese fetish culture. Japanese, especially generation x and y, like to know about other cultures and languages. It makes sense considering traditional Japanese life where recent surveys state most of the population hates their job and or daily lives. With such inner loathing, it makes sense why animators have such vivid imaginations in their work.
Culture wise, on why animes have so much flare from Western culture has a lot to do with post-WWII rebuilding and the influx of Western things at that time. Most animators have heavy western influences that spawn from their upbringing. On average though, the regular Joe Japanese outside of a major city prolly gives no thought to anything from the West. No real reason for it other than why should they? Live in Tokyo and the story is a bit different.
Japan has a rather large underground fetish community. It's not like the West though where such things seem common place in the public. You would not see many things in anime happen so openly in Japan. It's like if a naked man or woman runs down an anonymous street in Japan. Most onlookers will probably turn there heads or look down. Japanese culture still has a lot to do with being uncomfortable in their own skin and taboo, despite all the change. It's still a place where work is king, and if you wanna let loose, do so privately which in itself is hard considering the cramped living arrangement in large cities there. There is a reason why so many Japanese drink, smokes, party and love karaoke after hours. Note the use of after hours. You won't find people getting loaded before sundown flashing the public as you would say during St. Patrick's Day in New York City.
Japan remains a country of conformity, while hinging on the new generations wanting to branch out and be different. It's all a contradiction in a country where your an outcast for being different. Most of the Japan female idols who you see nude are lucky because if their careers never took off, they'd be shunned in the corporate world. In Japan, you never do anything nude if you even wish to work for some corporation in the future. It just doesn't happen due to fear and the repercussion of such things being brought to light. Kind of sucky where in contrast in the U.S. porn stars end up becoming respected business community leaders.
As for them wanting to be like EU, well who knows. I don't doubt it but that speaks more to those who run Japan and not the Japanese people themselves. Again, Japan operates a lot like an establishment, as it has many times before to great success and once to a disasterous political explosion.
Go even beyond sex and fantasy, think even militarily. Right now, Japan has had a "defensive" stance since being rebuilt after WWII. But for the first time since, they are attempting to branch out and be more offensive much to the delight and scorn of it's population. More old versus new arguments and questioning. Add WWII which will always be a staple to current Japanese culture, look at all the war scenes that play out in anime. A lot of which also speaks of global and intergalactic unions.
BTW, those maids who serve tea then service the client probably spawned from Japanese brothel history where black market geishas operated, not traditional geishas who had/have nothing to do with sex. Then again Geishas also tease, and your scenario could be a fantasy of wanting spawned from that too.

Japanese cartoons are not what real life is like...
Look at the target audience for anime and get a freaking brain.

Please give the example.
You must throw away the thing of Japan ahead of that.
Do not you envy Japan?
Is not the thing that the creation thing at the level of Japan cannot be made in my
country envied?
Is canceled the complex, does look calmly, and has your country closed the country?
