Japanese envy of other cultures

A lot of stuff in Japan is made to resemble Europe, especially French and Italian cultures, and sometimes American.  While analysing and emulating another culture is flattering, how realistic is it?  In anime, for example, you might see mansions with maids who serve tea and get involved in bondage gear.  Does this ever happen in Japan?  How likely are various fantasy scenarios in Japan?  (not sci-fi stuff, just contemporary).  This applies to anime and adult anime.  When does a "real life" scenario actually resemble Japanese life, and when doesn't it?

Do not you envy Japan?
Is not the thing that the creation thing at the level of Japan cannot be made in my
country envied?
Is canceled the complex, does look calmly, and has your country closed the country?

Incidentally, the thought looks like Korean people.
