Emergency Mittens was a button featured on 4-ch's /dqn/ that made mittens rain down across the screen web1.0 javascript style. Mittens is pretty gay and boring. Not sure what VIP memes you're referring to. I'd say that of any board currently, we aren't producing any memes. News for VIP is a place where we come to chill and relax and totally post whatever. I suppose we do strive to be VIP, generally though we are very busy at that which doesn't leave much time left in the day for posting.
I don't know about the tanasinn people, most likely there are people who sport features of both and it's a mix, with maybe one outweighing the other but even the degree of liking or mocking it isn't black and white/binary situation in itself so, basically it's NP-Complete. The thing you have to know is for as much opposed to what they identify as 4chan, the entire premise of the site was lifted from a meme that was rampant (thanks to a dedicated spammer and then people who took up to mocking him and his spam, as is the nature of the world4ch community) among world4ch around the 2006-2007 era and you will find they comprise of a lot of ex- and cross-w4ch people.
As for being scared of the textboards, I think that's a bit irrational. I mean even if you're a gayfurryomnisexual vaporkin, you'll still fit in in 4-ch or w4ch, the difference is if you get made fun of to your face by people who don't know you and don't care who you are, or get made fun of behind your back by people who know you in and out and care enough about you to spare your poor little feelings by keeping it between themselves.
I'd say world4ch is the safest community between tanasinn/other textboards and the imageboards because very few people actually give a fuck about it, and the ones who care too much are there for anyone to fuck with and cause such a whirl of shit that it will continue to be easy to keep people out. It's pretty VIP QUALIY, if you ask me.
