middle age crisis wonder

i'm not a middle-age guy, but i wonder what it would feel like when you have to face this kind of thing. what do you guys think?

I think it'd be pretty terrible. People probably think they've wasted their life and then they do something half hearted like buy a motorcycle to make up for lost time.

When can you start considering yourself having a midlife crisis?

hmm... could be. i talked about this middle age thing a lot with some of my already-30s- friends, and they'd talked about the past more, telling all those thrilling things, like they're still living as a 20s guy. and yeah, they drink more than any guys from other age gaps. and one guy i know screw a lot of hookers to make up for lost time, instead of buying motorcycle.

i'm not sure, or could it come as early as 20s as well? but since its being labeled as middle age crisis, i think it would reach its peak somewhere around that age gap.

i'm actually writing about this stuff for a short story, but all that i could think of for the main character is just how shitty life has been for him, say, like even his face kind of irking him.
