If you have proper materials, go for a vase.
If not, then... buy her a parfume? Try to go for the most expensive one (that you can afford).
If neither works... tell us what she's into.

A printed or drawn kitten Christmas card with a cute pun,
a 5 dollar bill and a 'no-cash value' favor coupon for her inside.
Just avoid breaking her hands. Bitches hate that.
She's a psuedo-gamer girl type. Pokemon, Kingdom Hearts, Professor Layton, Phoenix Wright, etc. etc. are things she enjoys, though she tends to be very self-aware of her actions and frowns on the landwhales and (hyper-liberal) fangirls that you usually hear about. She is a Slytherin buff and likes TF2 as well.
In terms of clothes... she's in a love affair with anything argyle, as well as knee socks. She doesn't like baggy stuff, and I know she's been looking for a new jacket, though it would have to co-incide with her interests and not just be some random thing off the rack at wal-mart or something.
The biggest part about shopping for her is that I really don't KNOW what she wants. I can't give her a game because... well... that would just be kind of lame.

That... is actually a pretty good idea. She likes cute stuff like that.
Origami fan art is so time consuming and under-appreciated that's why everyone buys gift-cards instead of offering cash. It forces them to buy shit that they don't want. Also we don't need a name or pix. Her tits are none of my business.

Whatever you do, don't purchase a vibrator for her. Those stimulate so well that she'll leave you for sure.

That is really cool. I wonder if those slits could be made more narrow for a more detailed animation.

Probably.
I looked at the others: some animate between page flips in color. http://youtu.be/KyXNu-RcA9g
Search for "lenticular and moire effects" to see more.
Don't offer this as a gift, it's too time consuming and expensive.
