I think MIKU is popular in the world, but I have never heard that other Japanese VOCALOID or UTAU is popular in foreign country.

The vocaloids are a little popular in america. Mostly this is among teenage girls and uh well, girls in general. Some guys like vocaloid but I don't know any of them outside of the internet.
