I'm sick of censorship. I can't trust these guys to filter what I read.
How do you get around the internet censorship when it comes to Chilling Effects?
There has to be a way to counter simply removing search results from Google.
What search engines are not censored like this?
Is there some list somewhere, constructed through comparing Googles search results with other browsers and listing the differences? There should be.

HOLY SHIT FRAVIA IS POSTING FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't understand this thread, I thought ChillingEffects was the site run by the EFF who made Tor and are supposed to be the ones working to ensure there's freedom of expression and communication and countering the chilling effects of censorship? SO what is exactly is going on?

They censor google results, for example - they report blogs with loli on them to google as cp and they're filtered out of google search results.

no chilling effects is the site that censors results with CP and DMCA violations, so they basically hold all power over what you see on the internet.
As for the original topic CE cencors all legal browsers in congruence with the digital millennium copyright act and the things that are blocked loose their DNS host, so they may still exist such as CP and other sites but you need to know the IP, either word of mouth, random IP guessing, or geting some sort of bot to do that for you will work, since the way google and other engines work is contacting the DNS provider and asking them for directory levels such as COM WWW and HTTP:// you need an engine that looks for any IP with port 80 or 20/21 forwarded.

Hmm, I guess it makes sense that they would do that, but it also makes me wonder what else won't become under the chilling effect of chilling effects's gaze in the future. Thanks for the clarification.

so we need to create a massive protocol bot to find all servers?
how hard can that be?

If there's some way to extract a list from Google of the servers it already lists, then our protocol can just fill in the gaps. There's bound to be lots of virus sites there, though.

It doesnt matter whar you write, you're still putting the thread to the top.
