Splitting up /b/

So I'm thinking about writing an email to moot about splitting up /b/ in order to decrese the monumental traffic.

Any tips/ideas?

I think a more moderated random board would be a good idea. So you can post things that don't fall into any category without actually posting in the shithole that is /b/.
