Does anyone know how to clean up the history of a mac? im at a friends house and ive got some shit to clean up. Also is there a way to search 4chan with keywords? and how effective is it. thx

depends on the system. If you're using terminal, open ~/.tcsh_history. This is the default shell. I use bash, so that's ~/.bash_history. if you're this new to unix, use pico as your editor. it's easy as taking a shit.

in safari, clear the cache.

if you've used any ssh tunnels, go to:

cd ~/.ssh/known_hosts/

and clear that file.

Other than that, leave a note that says "I didn't know you looked at 4chan..." and tell him or her it was already on the computer.
