In this day and age, it is very hard for me to establish a solid moral foundation. I might desire to become some particular character, and conform to those behaviors commonly associated with it. Yet, well-understood character types imply only a small number of characteristics than what is required in life. The majority of essential qualities of a human, in general, cannot be deduced by relying solely upon a character structure. Self-discipline is the ability to do what you see fit and refrain from what you deem is unfit. Of course the basis of this is relative to the individuals fundamental ethos. I might recognize such and try to develop a system that is capable of implementing my ethos, yet this is incredibly complex if not impossible. You need a datum, or a general rule to live by. A rule such that any behavior can be easily determined as right or wrong in comparison, thereby serving as the kernel of your morals. It is my current belief that moral foundations are realized through the opinion of an ideal woman. By ideal woman I mean that she represents the object of all your desires. The appropriateness of an action is gauged by her opinion of that action. We are doing everything for her approval. Keep in mind that an ideal woman is not women in general, rather she is a woman that represents our desires and spirit. What we are and what we hope to be is manifested in her. The complex task of developing an artificial system of guidance is made possible by resolving it to a living human. I note that if a male happens to be somewhat complex, in that he allows certain extreme deviant behaviors (by "allow" I mean to say they are in-line with his morals), and restricts others, then an ideal woman must be just as complex, filtering in the same manner. In such a scheme, it appears as though a man is ruled by a woman, however, he is free to choose who shall be his ruler. He determines this based upon who he is and what he hopes to accomplish. Realizing that achieving goals requires structure, he can both implement and enforce it through a woman he finds capable. In this sense, a woman is very similar to an operating system, a man, the application. Depending on what sort of application the man is or is to become, one can determine what sort of operating system is most appropriate. The operating system provides the fundamental structure as well as the security to run whatever it is you wish to run. This also presents an order, where a man first determines what he hopes to do, and then determines the sort of structure best suited to carry it out. What is interesting is that some men are aware of systems that are productive, efficient, and powerful in regards to general objectives, without being aware of what they hope to do. These males are more interested in the beauty of such rare productive systems, i.e. systems formed to allow achievement of any desire, fantasy systems, aladdin's lamp. Knowing the potential of such systems, they simple set them as their ideal without having developed any particular desire. I must make all my calls through her.
