Just trying to figure out whether air or water cooling will be better for my computer. It sits in our lounge room where its usually above 20c and regularly around 25-27c.
I have a p4 3.4 and sitting next to it is a 6600gt with silent heatpipe cooling (so its pretty hot too).
I have an old crappy case that has VERY poor airflow so i have the side off which helps a bit but even with the side off and a 40cm pedestal fan pointing into the case it still gets pretty hot at full load.
Am going to buy either a big heatsink and fan (big typhoon or similar) or a watercooling system (Thermaltake Big Water 735 or similar).
SO... Which is better at cooling in high ambient temps?
