I hate some people,

There is this nice family at my church. They have like 5 kids, they homeschool, and they are very active in the church. The mom and dad are some of the nicest people I've met and the kids are all very well behaved and all very funny, happy kids.

Well, the mom has had a lot of medical problems lately and the oldest daughter has had to take care of her mom while her dad woks during the day. So this last week the oldest daughter got in this big fight with her parents about how moving from dallas to houston caused her to lose friends and how having to take care of her mom during the day 5 days a week killed her social life... so she left to live with her moms brother.

Now her moms brother is seeking custody of the familys youngest boy whos like 9. I dont know what they are basing it on but they say that the dad in the family (who is a great guy) is unfit to be a father, and that their homeschooling is harmful to the kids (who are all well above their grade level), and that our church is a cult (which it clearly is not).

I have a strong dislike for everything this woman's brother is trying to do. He's destroying one of the nicest families I've met all because he hates Christianity and hates homeschooling.

As for home schooling, I think it's great. I would probably send my kid to the private school, "Francis Parker" though. Good school.

Home schooling could be good for the child since public schools nowadays are crap.
