Anime is not for children!

HAHAHAHAHAHA. Go talk to anyone who actually works in the anime industry who the vast majority of anime shows are targeted for. Guess who they will say? Children and young teens.

>>Go to Japan you will see grownups with anime ringtones, and anything anime you will see for yourself

Bullshit.

You waps who are still under this impression that anime is mainstream (which it isn't outside of things like Ghibli movies) and is the same as live action you really need to read this: http://www.angelfire.com/geek/tetrisnomiko/misconceptions.html

In the end, anime is not watched by everyone in japan. It is not mainstream. Manga on the other hand is mainstream within the japanese society.

I dont, actually.  And I havnt watched anime for years, so you again fail at thinking I have an obsession with it.  If anyone is to realize somthing here, it's that you're meager opinion dosnt mean anything, to many people.

Even if the 'japanese industry people' where to say 'Anime is mostly targeted towards children', that would still mean absolutely nothing.  The same people will watch it who have been watching it for years, and there's still nothing wrong with that.

It's only when people who have a severe schism of their childhood, feeling that they must always be 'more adult' in their lifestyle start saying 'no, doing that makes you a child' that it really becomes a problem.  People generally like to enjoy their lifestyle, and they fill it with objects of comfurt when they can; anime being somthing of comfurt for many people.  And it's absolutely normal.

Just because your childhood may or may not have been a trainwreck, it dosnt mean that you need to force your crooked outlook on everyone else; believing that once you hit 'adulthood' (which your own adulthood is now in question) that you should strip away anothing resembling a childhood.  People dont live like that.  Go outside, watch some kids play.  Try not to hurt any of them.

In despite everything you've put in this thread, it still dosnt change the fact that programs for 'young people' are accepted for viewing for all age groups.  The only thing holding you back is your close-minded opinion.
