Go ahead and watch Ichigo Mashimaro afterwards, it's not CP (in and of itself, at least...) but it's definitley an emasculating experience.

Probably the times I've felt best about watching Azumanga Daioh is when I've told the jokes that Osaka tells, and nobody gets it then either. Heh heh.

I'm in love with Sakaki, and no amount of real woman will ever fix that, I think. Not so much in love with her body (the feeling lingers post-fap) but rather in who she is. She's an introvert, just like me. She loves animals and cute things, just like me. People think I'm cool (not being prideful here, but I'm the "go-to" guy when people wanna do something fun) but honestly I'd rather them just accept me for who I am.

I also cried when A.D. ended, but look forward to the spin-off potential (although from what I'm told, that never happens in anime).

Go watch Fruits Basket. It'll make you feel good about yourself.

BTW, the only way you'll ever truly "absorb" Azumanga Daioh is to get the mangas, and watch the DVDs, once in subtitles and once with dubbing. Through constant research in this manner, I hope to someday be able to "create" Sakaki in my own head, the idea being that if the illusion feels just the same as the real thing, it's ok for me to fall in love with her. Then, I'll never be lonely again, because my mind-wife will always be with me.

Who are you to judge? If I fall in love with an thought instead of a person, how does that affect you? It's so easy to love Sakaki (from Azumanga Daioh) because like all the other characters, she's ideal. If it were IRL, she'd probably be ass-ugly, have a screechy voice, and fart constantly, JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER REAL GIRL I'VE EVER MET.

But no, what I'm doing is something that will put psychologists to shame, doing in a single lifetime what hundreds of years have failed to do. I'm going to create Sakaki as a real person in my mind, I'm going to love her, and we (YES "WE") are going to be happy.

Think of it like running two programs on one computer. What's stopping us?
