The Woelfel tape

Name: Anonymous 2010-08-17 21:38

In 1989 the world almost came to an end. A film student named Jay Woelfel had discovered a way to take the medium to a place where it could not return from: Into his own nightmares.
Despite the many incidents and disappearances surrounding his movie "Beyond Dream's Door", Woelfel became obsessed with getting his weapon broadcasted on national television, and his followers managed to break into several stations under the cover of night, boardcasting it with terrifying effects before the police could get a hold of all of his tapes.
Despite of the thorough searches and seizures, there are still rumors to this day, 22 years later, that there is an obscure east-european horror enthusiast site somewhere on the internet, that still has a copy available for download, and that those who download and watch it are never heard from again.

I heard they deleted the most inducing scenes so that viewers can actually escape it now. Still I wouldn't recommend watching it to the very end.
