Avatar, Alice, and Titans

Is it just me, or is Imax 3D becoming the latest and greatest gimmick at selling theater tickets? Alice in Wonderland just came out to be the #1 film for the third week in a row, grossing over $200 million since its release, despite being a hulking piece of shit. Does anyone else have a sinking suspicion that Clash of the Titans will also top box office charts simply because of its Imax 3D release?

I think Clash of The Titans will top box office charts because of all the people who loved the original. the Imax 3D release will lend to the profit, though, obviously.
