all the stories will be recycled stories
Maybe, but at least they could have recycled something good, and leave that abomination of a plot to rot in James' drawer.
I AGREE!!!
I actually slept through part of avatar and I wasnt even tired
if it was made w/ live actors not CGI I think we would be able to see how awful it is
it is a CGI talent show
not a film.

the sad thing is that it was having such a big potential, in 162 mins there is no character development, no plot development, no conflicts and a lot of scene are repetetive. Jake goes somewhere and see X, than he go somewhere else and see y and so on. He is maybe seeing awesome things but they are not pushing story anywhere. the biggest flaw is that there are no conflicts, count with me
1, Jake's inner conflict as a traitor
2, Jake's inner conflict as a liar too NeyNey
4, Jake's inner conflict - he is destroying his brother dream
5, Jake vs TsuTey - who will be the leader
6, Jake vs TsuTey - who will get NeyNey
7, Rodriguez's character vs Quatrich - she disobeys an order, in army is a bullet in the head for this
7, Norm vs Jake - Norm was obviously jelause of him
8, NeyNey vs Jake - he was part of a problem and suddenly he is giving commands to Na'vi
i could go on. None of these were well hendled in the movie. I also couldn't stand the strong pro green-movement tone of the ending. At the end i was hoping that Quadrich, the main antagonist, wins and that is not good in a film for a whole family. Avatar has great effects but everything else is shit
