Does anyone else like the films of Michael Mann? I like his stylistics and find them to be very distinctive, "cool" even. I consider him to be the spiritual successor to Jean-Pierre Melville. Your thoughts?

why are you the one being such an asshole because some Anon likes to actually think about movies?
Fuck you.
OP: I like Mann's films, but his style gets too much in the way, and I feel like the movie I just saw is kinda empty. Dunno about the French guy

I sometimes make posts on this fine /tele board,
When I manage to outrun the big zombie hoarde.
But ma' in her kerchief and pa' with his map
watch out for the zombies, to bust an ass cap.
The gascans are gathered in the courtyard with care
In hopes that the protagonist will soon find them there.
When down from the ventilation system there arose such a clatter
I grabbed a grenade, to see what was the matter.
And what to my wondering eyes did appear,
But Gordon Freeman, with Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer.
He raises a crowbar, and emits a cry
while lighting the gascans, to make zombies fry.
We jump through a window and roll on the grass.
I reach out behind me, to grope Alyx's ass.
She turned like a key and hit me with a chair,
So I moved with my headcrab to a house in Bel-Air.
