vague movie description

looking for a movie
not sure what its called
all i remember from the preview was a dood with an acoustic guitar
a sweet beard
and he smiled sometimes.

it isnt august rush.  i think it came out in 2007 but i could be wrong....it did come out in recent years, thats for sure.

does anything have any idea as to what im talking about?

Oh, I am ALL over this one. The movie is called "Once." It was excellent. a tiny bit emo-esque at times, but don't let that deter you. It's great.
