Crime film recommendation

Hi there, I was wondering if /tele/ could suggest me some films to watch. I am new to films - I've watched only anime for several years now, but I recently downloaded some films and really enjoyed them, so I'd like some more good ones to watch. I have seen the following:

Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels <--- good
Snatch <--- good
Revolver <--- Sucked
Layer Cake <--- This was really great

Reservoir Dogs <--- Pretty cool
Pulp Fiction <--- Pretty good
The Usual Suspects <--- Good

Ichi the Killer <--- I didn't like it. I was hoping for Yakuza flick + sadomasochist, but I got some crazy wierd thing instead.

So yeah - I'd quite like some more decent crime films to watch. I prefer ones that feel fairly realistic (like Layer Cake). I also quite like british crime films (london gangs are cool), but american films are also fun.

have you seen Once Upon a Time in Mexico? its good
and sorry revolver was a very good movie but you may be American so its not your fault technically

the departed is really good. deserved the awards.
