why are current movies especially shit atm?

stick it, click, just my luck, the omen.. usually i'll have some interest in a movie that's out at any given time period but the choices available are especially dismal at the moment and have been for the last few months. no good action movies on the horizon, and the last few ones have been shit i wouldn't wish MI3 on my worst enemy).

there are some art house/small movies like that bettie page one and the one about the rolling stones but no release date for them this year where i am. BAH!

A Scanner Darkly was good, Pirates was good, but the rest of the stuff in the theater is stuff I'm not really interested in.
That and I live in South Carolina so all of my friends are to conservative to want to see the Al Gore movie :( (An Inconvienient Truth)

Why is Litte Man #2 at the box office?

cuz everything else sucks..

the new pirates of the carribean movie started off good, but then it just slid down a slippery slope into being a terrible movie. things were building up well, then everything just dropped off. so what if it's supposed to be a trilogy. the empire strikes back had a solid plot all the way through. the plot didn't just disintegrate 3/4 of the way through. anyway

i'm really looking forward to Talladega Nights and Snakes on a Plane. those two movies alone will make this movie season awesome

Snakes on a Plane was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

People idolize over Haruhi Suzymiya because she acts like a guy. You ever wish you could have a girl as a friend, just to hang out with like one of the guys?  A girl that would have the same interests as you, the same enthusiasm, the same keen observations and sense of adventure?  How about a girlfriend that you could just hang out with, have fun with, and not have to listen to her whine and complain and leak.   Haruhi Suzymiya is that ideal "hang out with" girl.  She has fans because she has all the best traits of a guy friend you can hang out with, only she happens to be a girl.  Understand that when people idolize over Haruhi Suzymiya, they idolize over the personality of a cool guy friend in a girl's body- an ideal friend/partner who has the best of both worlds, and would be nearly impossible to find.
