Holy fucking shit, what an awesome movie! Unfortunately for me, I passed it on theaters because while I kinda enjoyed House of 1000 corpses, it was worth a rental at best. Well, Devil's Rejects is an entirely different song, a dark, twisted Horror classic.
It's almost unbelivable how much Rob Zombie improved his skills between the two movies (Roger Ebert noticed this in his review). Otis, Baby and Cap are real characters instead of caricatures, and I loved how they aren't invincible and just as frail as their victims. Oh, and William Forsythe kicked ass as the Sheriff. Al in all, an excellent horror flick. Heck, more than that, an excellent movie altogheter!
