Chris Tucker in Jackie Brown

Name: Anonymous 2006-03-11 20:24

When Ordell meets Beaumont and they leave his apartment to head to Koreatown, Chris Tucker is limping during the entire shot from the door opening to them exiting the complex.

Why was he limping? Was it one of those untold story elements like getting assraped in jail and having a stiff walk? Was Mr. Tucker injured before filming and couldn't hide it effectively? Or is that the legendary 'nigger walk' people do to indicate the degree of their blackness?

Should I see this movie or will I hate Tarantino for making it?

It's a very good film, but different from Tarantino's other work. If you like Pulp Fiction or Resevoir Dogs just for the bloodshed/carnage, or the campy action in Kill Bill, you won't find any similiarities here.

My only gripe is Tarantino's obsession with playing old soul/R&B music, because he uses some of the same tracks repeatedly. If he mixed up the playlist a bit it would not be so grating.

Tarantino sucks for soundtracks:
* Pulp Fiction had highs and lows
* Reservoir Dogs had cliched overplayed-already 70s hits
* Kill Bill shit, I cant even remember the music.
