Metal, a Headbanger's Journey

Saw this doc last night, now in theatrical release...It has a wonderful range, from anthropological study to a fanboy's joy.  It's a fan's film: some great interviews with Slipknot, Iron Maiden and the Norwegian satanists. Also, lots of humour...the strength of metal is when it doesn't take itself too seriously.  But it can be SERIOUS entertainment and escapism...
Right fuckin' recommended.
