Texas Chainsaw Massacre

My friends and I watched the original version last night, and were left rather confused by it. Are any of the post-1974 versions/sequels worth watching, or will I put up with having seen a pirouetting Leatherface and mysterious vanishing truck/truckdriver to conclude it? I know it's just a slasher horror but inquiring minds wish to know ...

The remake is wild! And it is an accurate depiction of rural Texans (morons).

Well, oddly yes, the sequel to the original is better than the original. Its still a bad movie, but not as bad as the first.

I've only seen the sequel, and I particularily enjoyed the scene where the helpful hot girl is being groped by the old cracker she's lifting out of the wheelchair.

I enjoyed the original for being a cheap but entertaining flick, and consider the sequel to be the cheesiest, most irritating, most inane movie I've ever watched.
