I haven't seen the first movie nor am a Marvel junkie, so please enlighten me on these points:

Why does Wolverine realize Mystique isn't really Jean Gray when he touches the three scars on her back?

Why does Storm use her ice power to freeze Stryker's son? Couldn't they just kill him, or have Nightcrawler teleport him out of there?

What's Charles Xavier's power? I got the mental thing, but can he freeze time? I didn't understand in the mall scene how everyone was frozen but the TV was still going like the rest of the world wasn't.

What's the significance of the hole or whatever on the neck's of Magneto, Nightcrawler, and Cyclops? Is it a hole, or a scar, or what?

So Jean Gray reads Nightcrawler's mind to see the inside of the base at Alkaline Lake. But he explains that he was in the church in Boston, then found himself attacking the President and ended up back at the church. Does this mean Stryker's men brought him *all* the way to Alkaline Lake just to give him that mind control fluid and sent him back to Washington to carry out the mission?

Don't try so hard to understand the really idiotic things, both movies suck terribly, they're a disgrace to the comic series. If you plan on watching the Fantastic Four, I'd suggest you to do something more fun instead, like poking your eye out.

Jean Grey hasn't got three scars on her back.

She couldn't. Strykers son is like Xaviers power only... more controlled I think. Plus they actually had to win, not get their butts out of there.

It was where the kind of truth potion was injected... well not really injected, but you get the point.

Yeah, I think they did... but you've got to understand, it was an important mission, it could discriminate all of the mutants.

when does part 3 get released btw?

Xavier can't freeze time but can very well "freeze" people's minds, explaining why everything else goes about their business while everyone else is on mental pause.

In X-1 Wolverine stabs Mystique with his claws, plus wolvierine has animal senses so he could tell that it was Mystique probally by smell.

I assume that Storm did not want to kill Stryker's son.  As to why they just did not teleport, who knows.

Pretty much Xavier is the most powerful telepath in the world.  He can for the most part make you think anything he wants, and take complete control over your mind.  In the mall he took over everyone and made them stop what they were doing also whiping their mind so they did not know what happend.

Those holes in their necks was some kind of injection that gave Stryker control over them.  Hince why Nightcrawler attacked the president, Magneto told Stryker about Cerebro, and why Cyclops attacked Jean Grey towards the end of the movie.

No it means that Stryker used the mind control fluid at the church, he teleported his way to the White House kicked the presidents ass, then teleported his way back to the church, without him really knowing what he just did.
