Stella failed because it didn't have a studio audience laughing at every single joke, like they do on every single new show on comedy central.

It was too hard to understand for US citizens. Thats no joke, i am serious about this. Ratings were low because most of people watching it were just too stupid to understand the humor so they just stared at TV without a laugh. Sad. I think statue of liberty is crying.
