Firefly: Serenity

So, this movie is ruttin' fantastic.  Every actor is exceptional, even the new characters.  I only saw the first half of the pilot and still loved it.  I watched a few episodes, and went back to see it again.  Lots of sci-fi, lots of western, lots of pirate, cowboy, ninja, and samurai type action... the smart-ass widecracks are hilarious.  I suggest anyone who likes sci-fi, western, action, or just plain character dramas to go see this movie immediately.

Did anyone have any problems?

I just got back from watching this movie. In fact I watched the series over the last two days in preparation.

I was actually pretty amazed at how relevant the story was since I wasn't quite sure what to expect (it could have been a wacky adventure for pure fan service just to make money). Though I also would have liked to know more about book. Though his back story wouldn't be too hard to piece together. Except for some specifics I suppose. What sort of bothers me is that there haven't been any references to the blue handed men since when they escaped for the hospital (though I really enjoyed the reaver back story heh.)

On a side note Firefly's style of comedy is first class. There probably isn't a series I've watched that make me laugh as often.

There's a comic mini-series of Firefly. It acts as a Prologue for the movie, and features the Blue-Hands.

I'm one of those fans who was lucky enough to get to a premiere of the Serenity movie.

There is nothing I've experienced that matches how awesome it was to watch this as part of a group of people who were all markedly interested in the movie, but had never seen it before. Serenity will always remain awesome to me because I had such a fabulous time watching it. In fact, the theater might be a better place if they made going there a more social activity.

Yuh sure, if you enjoy character dramas like Twilight so much you wish you could rape any of the teenage girl characters involved then Serenity's for you!!!!

>>10 I enjoyed the way you disregarded this film yet contended it with other allegorical allusions you believe it aims at.

You are a lower tier English literature student who thinks they are smarter than they actually are.

Don't change these.
