Didn't Orson Scott Card go off on Star Trek in the LA Times? I vaguely remember him saying he was happy that it got cancelled and that no new movies are planned.

I think Star Trek should go away for 10 or 20 years to be brought back wiht a fresh group of writers and producers and maybe most importantly, fresh fans.
