Holy Jesus. What a pile of pants. The film is a pile of pants.
The best moment was when Tifa kicked some bloke's ass and the battle victory music played, she looked around bemused, and it turns out it is the bloke's mobile ringtone. That scene sums up the film: an attempt to entertain people who have played the game, but not even a semblance of a decent plot, characterization, or anything that will stir up any form of emotion except for a girly high-pitched giggle.
The action was impressive at first, but fight scenes are not enough to hold my attention for 2 hours. As far as I am concerned, it difficult to think of ways they could have made the film any worse.

No, it's some dude from shin-ra...
If any of you remember when you went into Shinra HQ and you got to the gym/health spa level and if you looked in the lockers you found a "White Mircophone"? i.e. the weapon Cait Sith uses?
And him with the black materia?

Cait Sith is controlled by the Shin-Ra exec who wasn't a complete ass and didn't die. I forget his name. I think it started with an R.

Notice how they put the game's physics behind summoning Bahamut? (Which was completely pointless, by the way) He was formed out of grayish lifestream, as I recall. A mostly unnoticed detail which goes a long way.
Besides, they're building on top of reality. They ADDED monsters, and made them fit pretty well. I mean, no one's going to care how he was formed into physicality because it's a monster and they don't exist.
However, when someone jumps, they don't change direction mid-air. That's not an addition, it's changing something that you can't change. People would have complained if everyone had a third arm for no reason.

AC sucked rather badly. Hell, even Titanic owns it.

Stop talking about this movie until after I've seen it. I just need to download the version that isn't raw japanese.
Someone didn't understand ff7.
Holy destroyed the Meteor. Jenova's gene materials are still all over the place.
Cloud was also a stereotype in the game, too.
That Shinra top management guy, I've forgotten his name now. But really, having Cait Sith in the movie instead of his controller doesn't make any sense.

The ending sequence quite clearly shows both Cloud and Sephiroth being purged by the lifestream and returning to perfect health. It completely eradicated Jenova from them, and as they so obviously mention, it goes out to remove all Jenova cells.
Cloud was a common "Anti-hero", but he was not a stereotype. In FF7 he is cocky and arrogant at the beginning. He is very lively and characterized in his actions (Such as his overblown shrugs, and don't just pass it off on the sprite because it matches his dialogue). He was a jerk and they obviously wanted the audience to think so, too, until he reforms later.
In AC he was the same as every single bishounen badass. Act tough, don't talk, brood (Because someone is ALWAYS watching).
If you think they're same character, consider this: Remember all the FF7 character art, cut scenes, sprites, etc. Would he have ever worn sunglasses? You know, the staple cool cliche? It never would have fit in that world or his character.

Hi, I'm from the future. Just downloaded the BluRay rip and it still sucks. What is BluRay, you might ask? Well, in a couple of months, you'll find out.
