Texas Chainsaw / 1000 Corpses films?

There's something sacred about genuine 1800s cannibalistic serial killer movies based in the dusty south that really revives horror for me. True serial kill homage. Which films of a similar or inspirational vein are there?

Ed Gein (along with Dahmer and Bundy if you get the box set).  Low budget stuff though.
