What the FUCK is this

My laptop will crash and show that message sometimes. No specific conditions, no pattern. Once it did that while idling. Google results for the message are all about a Dell laptop not booting up. I don't have a Dell laptop, my laptop boots up fine. A related thing is that when listening to music in the background the sound will sometimes get really slow. When my laptop crashes, the sound will drag out in exactly the same way before it dies.

What the fuck is wrong here? Is it a hardware issue? Software?
