Taskbar Autohide Sucks

Does anyone have any idea how to keep your taskbar hidden until you press the windows key?
When scrolling hoirzontally the taskbar will reappear obscuring my work anyone know of any cool programs? tried taskbar killer (the alt+t to unlock is terrible and the program stops working after a few full screen programs have been opened) I admit I have only googled this for a little bit but I would rather have the input of /g/
