Unsubscribe Script and E-mail List

So, I clicked the unsubscribe link in one of my spam e-mails and entered a phony e-mail to see what would happen. It turns out that there was some error in their php unsubscribe script and it gave up the file-name of the email list that I assume it was compiling from people who used the form. It has about 420k e-mails.

tl;dr Don't make yourself get spammed more by trying to unsubscribe from spam.

Oh wow, that's actually kind of funny that they do that to get even MORE emails. Do you think that originally they use a brute force-type thing to email it out? like first send it to aaa@gmail.com then aab@gmail.com then aac@gmail.com etc etc, and then to see which ones are valid emails they just record the emails of everyone that clicks the unsubscribe button?

Also, if anyone is looking for some email lists to spam, I have about 14m emails in a list that I'm willing to give to people.

You know people are going to want it, just give it.
