4chan has always been the most homogeneous cesspool of white, male, teenaged, know nothing, oxygen waster video game addict, corporate cock sucking, name brand loving, losers anywhere on the net. There is nothing bewildering or unpreditable happening here.. its simple people doing what they have been programed to do... read the program or understand the programmer and you can predict these peoples emotional reactions and thought processes like clockwork... Or you can use your knowledge to "generate errors" in their code.. treat people on the internet like you treat software.
If its consensus opinion on 4chan, then assume the opposite and you are clear. Every single board on the site is like this. There are keywords (i wont list them) that you can post to get a bunch of angry kiddies yelling on any board.. like saying "AMD" in /g/.

To elaborate what I meant: 4chan itself is just a shell. It's medium, a vehicle which drives the communications and interactions that subsequently define what 4chan is at any given moment. 4chan can and does or will change whenever the people who post here day in and day out change. Like any other completely user-contributed based medium, the defining factor is really the demographic. Without the users and their contributions this place is nothing but a ghost, an empty shell.
Post number 6 is not actually critical of 4chan itself, rather it's critical of the static demographic and user base whose behavior defines the site and how it's perceived. That behavior just happens to have been so many things in the past, most of which isn't really worthy of note outside of just saying "overly testosterone driven, narcissist den of adolescent angst and attention seeking with a dash of socially conscious, name brand concerned, consumerist materialism and ultra-conformist xenophobic herb mentality based on a parasitic and close minded metathesiophobia or intolerance of intellectualism. IMHO of course. I also see people growing out of it, but it seems like most of them slowly come around less and less then stop altogether.
I am not talking about 4chan; I am talking about the people in and around 4chan and the psychology of their behavior. If you dont like 4chan, then you have a problem with self expression. If you don't like some of what happens in 4chan, then you are entitled to that opinion.
