Would you think SICP is a good book for beginners?
I'm talking about a 14 year old cousin that knows nothing aside from HTML and bash scripting, and is very willing to jump into computer science. The thing is, I read SICP, introduction to algorithms, and K&R when I was in undergrad and already had 2 years of Comp Sci from high school under my belt. This guy is a complete newbie.
So, yeah, is SICP too hard for a guy like this or is it a good head-start?
