My windows xp Ethernet, audio, video etc drivers are gone. What do I

1. Go to control panel
2. Look up names of Ethernet, audio, video etc devices
3. Google '[device name] driver download'
4. Uninstall XP, get something better
This. Also, unless your computer is very outdated, you should consider upgrading to Windows 7.

No need to upgrade, I find windows XP to work better than 7 if you're a serous comp user. Win 7 just wastes your resources to make it look more modern and "secure". Doesn't offer much in practicality.
About your question, the simple answer is to simply find the make and model of each device and download the drivers from their manufacturers' websites. If you bought your pc from a company (not custom built) the the chances are you already have a recovery disk creator installed. Use this to create a disc and use the disc to install the missing drivers - otherwise just search your comp model on the company's site and download the drivers.
If your comp is custom built then you'll have to ask whoever who built it to give you a list of whats inside, otherwise you'll have to open it and read the labeling on each component.
