Finding the source of Facebook-pics?

Name: Anonymous 2012-03-22 6:42

If you've got a picture from Facebook with it's original name, is it possible to backtrack it to the original uploader on FB?

You could do a reverse image search with TinEye or something, but I don't know if it indexes Facebook photos.

Tineye didn't work.

But if the name formt of the FB-pics is ".facebook_-[9 digits].jpg", that means there's 10 000 000 000 possible combinations. And by throwing in some letters or more digits, the combinations are even more plentiful.

I don't know how FB works, but with that many possible combinations, there's no need for a folder structure like this:

user1/pic1.jpg
user2/pic2.jpg

etc...

there are numbers in the url separated by _. the number you want is the third bundle of numbers from the right.

Can you please elaborate? Because the pics I've seen only has one string of numbers.

OP here. One of the pics has this name: .facebook_-[9 digits].jpg Please tell me how I find the uploader.

try put those 9 digits after the profile URL, so
www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=[9 digits]

All I get is "profile unavailable". ;_;

You go to
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=
and type in the secound long number in the image name after the "="

example
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=133465710075919
(doesn't lead anywhere)

Don't change these.
