Error: Abnormal reply.
Was always able to post fine, but I've been getting this lately, what should I do?

go on boards like /k/ and call them weeaboo too, I'm sure they'll skin you alive

>this isnt 2003 4chan anymore

Name: Anonymous 2012-01-08 9:44

managed to get a post after switching off and turning on the miobox.
Kinda unrelated - for /a/nons who might have missed it: gantz waiting room finished dorohedoro volume 16! And iirc superior cross 5 was done by someone else as well. My hp makes formatting a nightmare. Apologies.

after that cannot post again? restarting router does ntg in long term?

Over the past 4 to 5 days, I can get in one or two posts after the router reset before I get the abnormal reply. dnsflush or releasing and reacquiring new ips via cmd was useless. singtel's connection has been spotty for me and the router would turn and off on its own - it's been doing that every 6 hours or so these few days. I'm thinking until 4chan changes its code or spam filter, we're gonna be stuck with this problem.

I really dont feel like moving to another chan

7 is slow as shit

Name: Anonymous 2012-01-08 15:17

wtf is wrong with 4chan??

Name: Anonymous 2012-01-08 16:07

Yeah it is really getting annoying to surf /a/ with all the errors

I'm beginning to be forced to do normal things instead of waste time on /a/. My soul feels haggard. Managed to get two posts in during the last 12 hours. Things might get better after the American winter hols end?

Name: Anonymous 2012-01-09 2:48

I can only post like 3 times a day before all the abnormal request shit. Bloody singtel... At least it's better then last year, always had the "your isp is caching a ban" crap...

Name: Anonymous 2012-01-09 3:03

it is working smoothly for me last year throughout all the way

Name: Anonymous 2012-01-09 4:04

Been giving me problems on and off since 2008, when coincidentally, a bunch of people used our ips to ddos 4chan. anyway, my own school started so I can't live on the chans anymore.
>>95
So the others, starhub and m1, give static IPs? They have no problems??

Name: Anonymous 2012-01-09 4:17

been browsing 4chan since last year no problems with it

Name: Anonymous 2012-01-09 4:18

I don't think the ddos come from here

Majority of them are /b/tards and /b/2.0tards

The rest from /a/ are just cancerous normalfags.

Why are you on 4chan or even here? Go back to 9gag and laugh at pictures of taxis and uncleaned hawker centre tables.

25 is underaged now? Try grad school.

So what? we can't argue with our own favourite boards, so we're arguing with each other here? shouldn't we be working together to find away to bypass the 'abnormal reply' bullshit?!

You put Singaporeans in such close proximities and this sort of thing is bound to happen. Especially when they're Aspie-tier "Hurr, Durr, I'm so bleedin' special because I can use grammar better than the rest of you and I can post on 4chan! Look at me!"

The only way to bypass this is via a technological solution like proxies.

The point is that you and friends cannot even capitalize, thus showing yourself to be inferior.

The irony hurts.

Lrn2comma, friend.

>Be sure that the word is an introductory word, not a modifier, before you use a comma after it.  Also as illustrated below, no comma is necessary after the introductory word hence, thus, then, or still.
>However, necessary repairs must be made. (However is an introductory word.)

>However necessary the repairs may be, we cannot afford to make them now. (However functions as an adverb; it modifies the adjective necessary.)

>Thus we should test several types of machines first; then we should select the one that best meets our needs.

Is the problem with Singtel or 4chan? I just saw the other thread (http://dis.4chan.org/read/tech/1181467366) it looks like there are other countries with the same problem.

Hello Admin,

About a week back, I started having problems replying to 4chan threads. Upon looking up on it on the net, it turns out I'm not the only one affected.

http://dis.4chan.org/read/tech/1325697776

We're all using the same ISP (singnet, singapore). The ISP uses dynamic IPs.

Could this be the problem? Is it an action taken on the 4chan side, or is our ISP being shitty again? We would appreciate it if we could know more/get help on this.

Is there a way to solve this?

Personally I've been visiting 4chan since 2006. It is very frustrating not being able to post and take part in discussions.

Please help us.

Sincerely,

Anon
